Charity
When does welfare develop into (exceptional) respect?
Schönbuch identifies in a very special way with the Bavarian region in which the company has its headquarters. Quite close by, the monastery of Maria Bildhausen operates its Dominikus Ringeisen workshops, which have a long tradition of finding suitable work and other activity for handicapped people.
The craftsmen there produce model components for a variety of Schönbuch products and for complete items of furniture, for example the STICKS coat stand. Customers who buy this model support the Dominikus Ringeisen workshops and help to promote the welfare of handicapped people.
Schönbuch’s support for these workshops has been maintained for many years. It is an intensive form of cooperation based on strong mutual respect, and has a firm place in Schönbuch’s corporate history.
