Much more than design: Volker Herrmann and Bernd Eigenstetter are designers, design managers and communicators. Their work is channelled through Zeichen & Wunder - the name given to the communication and design agency established in 1995. A steady stream of miracles (the meaning of the German word ‘Wunder') emanates from a 20-strong creative team there. After completing his studies, Herrmann designed as a freelancer for Adidas and Telekom. Eigenstetter was a designer at Bulthaup and has been associated since 1998 with ‘designafairs' as Designer and Design Manager; his work has been awarded a number of prizes. Among the long-standing clients of Zeichen & Wunder is the Rolf Benz company. The Schönbuch programme includes the innovative BENCH coat-stand concept and the FLEX coat stand, both the work of Zeichen & Wunder.
