SCHÖNBUCH is presenting highlights from the current collection, classics and best-sellers in an innovative concept at its new showroom, the first of its kind, which opened on September 26, 2007 at the company’s head offices in Bad Königshofen.

A floor space of more than 120 square metres is devoted to the versatile, creative and functional aspects of the SCHÖNBUCH Collection – a clearly laid out presentation flooded with light and full of contrast that acts as a source of inspiration for decision-makers from the trade, furniture dealers and store-owners from home and export markets and representatives of the international media.

In addition to the company’s products, the showroom illustrates new ways of displaying entrance-area furniture and is also used for staff training.

Two “Best of the Best” awards for Schönbuch

This was the fifth occasion on which the ‘imm cologne’ international furniture trade fair presented its interior innovation awards to top-performing exhibitors. The ‘Rat für Formgebung’, the Council of the German design competence centre, is a partner and organiser of this competition. From the 18 products that received the award, the international jury chose five as absolutely supreme regardless of category. They received the “Best of the Best” title for 2007 among the interior innovation award winners at the Cologne event.

Schönbuch convinced the jury with its innovative variety, its ability to sense coming trends and its high design standards, and received two of these coveted awards.
