A Bungalow
in the Hills
A light-flooded refuge in southern Europe – a bungalow built in the style of architect Richard Neutra. Full-height glass facades create a near-seamless transition between outdoors and in. The living space merges almost imperceptibly with the garden. And nothing distracts from the Mediterranean vegetation surrounding the house. Nor from the curated interior, which mixes mid-century furniture with designer classics of the 50s and 60s, and rattan with walnut and terrazzo. This special place is the setting in which Creative Director Carolin Sangha chose to photograph the 2022 collection and numerous best-sellers. It’s the perfect backdrop for Schönbuch furniture, whose crisp lines fuse gently with the surroundings. The KAIDAN lowboard effortlessly complements the walnut wood of Hans Wegener’s Shell lounge chairs. The reds of the CORES shelf unit are a soothing accent against the whitewashed wall. The CUT floating shelves showcase the ceramic tableware. And the LINE coat storage in rosewood extends a warm welcome to guests.
