Schönbuch Designer Bao-Nghi Droste

Bao-Nghi Droste

Creativity diversely applied. That’s the leitmotif of Bao-Nghi Droste. Born in Stuttgart, Droste initially did an apprenticeship as a joiner. He then went on to study industrial design at the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt. He gained his first professional experience during his time as a student, working for Werner Aisslinger in Berlin and Hannes Wettstein in Zurich. After graduating, Droste moved to Heidelberg, where he set up his own design studio in 2007. He has since been active as an interior, product and furniture designer and con-sultant. For Schönbuch, Bao-Nghi Droste created the wall mirror GEO, the purist lowboards and sideboards KAIDAN, the modular wardrobe MARU, and the side tables LUA.
