Enrico Tonucci

Functional clarity with Italianate feeling for design: this combination in particular is to be found in the work of Enrico Tonucci. He established the “Triangolo” design studio in 1976. In the course of his career he has been Art Director and Manager for many well-known Italian and international companies and brands, for instance Arte & Cuoio from 1992 onwards. He now concentrates on “Tonuccidesign”, his studio, and on the “Manifestodesign” label. Furniture and articles made from natural materials are the central element in his activities. For Schönbuch, this designer produced the ESAGONO wardrobe back in the 1970s, and the FRISBI wall-mounted wardrobe – long since a classic, but now presented in a new version.
