Felix Stark

Design, function and sustainability are the three qualities that define the creative spectrum of the design studio formstark, established in Cologne in 2004 by Felix Stark. A student at the time, Stark had trained as a joiner before going on to study industrial design at the ecosign/Academy for Design. Today, the designer also works as a freelance lecturer at institutions such as Bochum University of Applied Sciences, since 2009, and Bauhaus University in Weimar, since 2012. formstark develops products and spaces for retailers, clubs and exhibitions, and film sets. In addition, formstark offers trend analyses and workshops. The coat stand CURVE is the perfect embodiment of the famous doctrine “form follows function” and a formstark creation for Schönbuch.
