Product designer, creative director, brand developer – garth roberts is truly multi-talented. After a series of projects with the universities of New York, Milan and Berlin, the Canadian-born designer worked with renowned studios, such as those of Jeffrey Bernett and Patricia Urquiola. Later, in 2010, he established his own design studio in Berlin. Roberts believes design should be experimental, dynamic and functional, and always approached through a multi-disciplinary perspective. He designs not only high-end furniture but also home accessories, rugs, lights, product packaging, interiors for flagship stores, installations and contemporary art objects. He is the winner of multiple international awards including the Wallpaper* Design Award and several German design awards. For Schönbuch garth roberts has created ULNA, a set of different shelf elements that can be freely combined and work well in any setting.
