Hanne Willmann

The artistic search for complete simplicity. That’s the vocation of Hanne Willmann. After studying design in Berlin and Barcelona, Hanne Willmann worked for the Autoban studio in Istanbul and Werner Aisslinger in Berlin, where she later opened her own studio, in 2015. From the outset, her designs earned her numerous prizes and awards. In 2017 she became a lecturer at the University of the Arts in Berlin. Hanne Willmann’s creative approach is defined by her deep connection with her craft and is perhaps best exemplified in her designs for Schönbuch: the minimalist KAEDE tray, the multifunctional CHARPAI daybed, the IRO glass bowls and the SARO umbrella stand.
