Greenhouse

An old townhouse in Porto. This is the home and studio of the designer Christian Haas. Bathed in light, it made the perfect backdrop for photographing our furniture and accessories. Were it not for the fact that this was just a whistle-stop, you could be forgiven for thinking they belonged there. Their clear forms merge seamlessly with the surroundings, in which traditionally Portuguese elements are used only sparingly. The tiled floor is an elegant grey rather than colourfully patterned. The ceiling above the staircase is clear glass rather than stained. And the plants everywhere feel just as much at home as the Schönbuch furniture.
