And if it needs to be cleared to do something else, laptops and office utensils can quickly be stowed in the storage compartment under the top. The compartment is closed on three sides and can be fitted with two electrical sockets if required. The frame is made of solid beeachwood, the table is fully lacquered, with a broad palette of matt colours to choose from. The table is also available in oiled, natural walnut or bleached maple with a clear varnish finish. In both versions, the tabletop and frame are made of solid wood. BUREAU also works well in hotel rooms, where it can inspire new projects or offer a handy place to put things. (It is delivered part-assembled.)
