THE SPACE – The latest go-to place for design fans. Located in the heart of Munich’s Westend, the new exhibition space unites the Schönbuch Gallery with work and design spaces for the very first time. Set in a leafy courtyard, THE SPACE invites visitors on a very special journey of discovery. In the main showroom the focus is on furniture, design objects and accessories in different colourways that combine to create a harmonious whole. In choosing her colours, creative director Carolin Sangha was inspired by her travels to India, Portugal and Sweden. She brings together shades such as brick red, sage green and terracotta yellow. In combination, the collection and colours show the diverse mix-and-match possibilities of Schönbuch products. Alongside products from the Schönbuch range, THE SPACE also presents selected items by other brands and manufacturers for customers to experience and buy. “With THE SPACE, we have created a very special place to spend time, meet people and make discoveries,” says Carolin Sangha. THE SPACE is open from Tuesdays to Fridays, 10 am to 5 pm and by appointment.
