Rooted in Italy, inspired by Sweden – This creative dichotomy defines the designs of Nichetto Studio. A graduate in product design, Luca Nichetto began his career with a glassmaker in Murano. He later worked as a product designer and lighting consultant before setting up his own studio in Venice. From the outset, his versatile studio served well-known clients, customers and organisations in Italy. As international demand for his designs increased, Luca Nichetto set up a second studio in 2011, this time in Stockholm. Both studios focus on product and interior design, and architecture. Nichetto’s capacity to combine Italian and Scandinavian design culture is best exemplified in SUMI, a purist yet decorative coat storage series designed for Schönbuch by Nichetto Studio.
